Passwords suck! Why you need a PHYSICAL security key 🔑
Google is beefing up its Titan Security Key offering, adding NFC support to all of the physical authenticators it offers and removing one of the options it previously offered entirely. By adding NFC support to each of its security keys, users will be able to log in to their accounts using their smartphones and other smart devices. Experts say the move makes it even easier for everyday consumers to take advantage of Google’s highest level of security for their accounts.
“With phishing attacks on the rise, Google’s Titan Keys are a great investment for everyday consumers and employees on work devices. These physical security keys are inexpensive and provide a very high level of protection against phishing,” Scott McDonald, security director and practice lead at Cloudbakers, told Lifewire in an email.
