Apple is holding an event on October 13, where it will reportedly unveil its latest iPhone models. The iPhone lineup is expected to include 5.4-inch, 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch screen sizes, and will feature faster processors, 5G and OLED displays. The new models could even be cheaper than the current generation, with prices potentially ranging from $699 to $1,099.
“Once Apple launches the iPhone 12, the price of older iPhones will drop,” Sarah McConomy, COO of phone trade-in site SellCell, said in an email interview. “It’s pretty much the law of smartphone depreciation.
"I think the iPhone 12 launch is worth the wait and the upgrade. For the first time in a few years, Apple seems to have made [really] big changes and will bring advancements to customers that weren't available at previous launches."
