Cynthia Erivo is speaking out about an "offensive" fan-edited poster for the upcoming film adaptation of the hit Broadway musical Wicked.

Fans weren’t enchanted by the previously released poster for the Wicked film, which aims to recreate the iconic 2003 poster for the musical. The original poster shows Elphaba — who will be played by Erivo in the upcoming film — grinning and wearing bright red lipstick, her eyes covered by her hat. Glinda, on the other hand, whispers in her ear, dressed in an all-white ensemble.

An edited poster that attempted to recreate the original has been circulating online. Erivo, however, is not happy about it. The actress expressed her disappointment via an Instagram story.
