Hades 2 is here, but it's currently only available to a small portion of players in early access. That doesn't mean the game is stuck there permanently, though, as a full release is on the way, which should eventually mean a console launch.
Hades 2 – Official Early Access Showcase Trailer
Like its predecessor, Hades 2 was designed and released in Early Access so that Supergiant Games could continue to work on the game with feedback from actively playing players. Unfortunately for some players, since Early Access is primarily limited to PC platforms, Hades fans on consoles were left feeling left out early on in the launch. So while Supergiant confirms that Hades 2 already has more content than the original, you may have to wait a little longer to enjoy it on Nintendo Switch, Xbox, or PlayStation 5.
At this time, Hades 2 does not have a console release date. Since the game is in Early Access, its release is primarily limited to PC platforms like Steam and the Epic Games Store, though a console version of the game is expected to release in the future.
Following Supergiant Games' latest efforts with Hades, a console version of the game is likely in internal development as the team works on further improvements and content updates to the Hades 2 build, which is currently in Early Access.
