At this point, we haven’t heard any official word on the subject and we expect it will be a few months before the question is answered. However, there are a few caveats and interesting tidbits that may shed some light on the subject.
Back in August 2023, Activision let fans know that the transition from Modern Warfare 2 to Modern Warfare 3 would be simple and painless by ensuring that the vast majority of content between titles would carry over. This meant that skins, weapons, blueprints, and more would be ported over from MW2 to MW3 upon release. Since we know when Activision announced this feature, we can expect official word on what MW3 content will be ported over to Black Ops 6 sometime in August and September, assuming they stick to a similar timeline. In the meantime, you’ll definitely want to check out the wild teasers that Treyarch is putting out.
Reddit user FIreBoyi took to the Call of Duty subreddit to announce a leak for Black Ops 6 weapons. Our protagonist denies it, stating that the images were taken during an unstable point in development and that the leaks are in no way guaranteed and are subject to change — a pretty standard PSA.
