One of the biggest features of Windows 11: the ability to use Android apps on your PC is finally here.
Android apps running on Windows 11
Microsoft is finally bringing Android apps to Windows 11. Originally announced with the unveiling of the new operating system, the feature didn’t launch with Windows 11 in early October. Now, however, Amazon and Microsoft are teaming up to bring Android apps to the PC.
The feature is currently available to users of the Windows Insider Beta program. You can opt in at any time through the Windows Update screen on your PC.
The number of apps you can download is limited, although Microsoft and Amazon have plans to improve that aspect in the future. For now, the apps include Kindle, the United Airlines app, and Khan Academy Kids.
