The arrival of a new version of Windows is just around the corner, but experts say users shouldn't expect it to be a huge change from what Windows already is.
Windows 11 RIP this feature
With Microsoft announcing the unveiling of the next version of Windows on June 24th and a bunch of new leaks showing off the new user interface, many people are excited about the future of Windows 11. Will it be a huge change from Windows 10? Will Microsoft finally catch up to the design schemes of other operating systems like macOS?
If you’re hoping for something revolutionary, you’re likely to be disappointed. All indications are that Windows 11 is simply a series of design changes to Windows 10, along with a bunch of new features that made the leap from Windows 10X.
“Given the success of Windows 10, users should expect Windows 11 to be an improvement over Windows 10, rather than a completely new platform,” Kenny Riley, chief technology officer at Velocity IT, told Lifewire in an email.
