Makes the server a domain controller
1 Installing Active Directory on a Windows Server 2003, Dcpromo.
Now that we have installed Windows Server 2003 on our virtual machine, patched it with SP2, installed an antivirus, and set up DNS, it's time to set up Active Directory using dcpromo.
Setting up Active Directory using the dcpromo run command is a simple procedure. To begin, from your Windows 2003 Server desktop, go to Start, click Run, type dcpromo, and then press Enter.
