Call of Duty's cheating situation was announced yesterday during the Last Chance Qualifier for the World Series of Warzone as perhaps its most terrifying chapter yet.

A player named Vexoh admitted to cheating in competitive Warzone events for several months, along with another teammate named Ave. After initially denying the allegations, Vexoh posted a message last night admitting to it after failing to qualify while cheating.
“Yeah, I did that shit, there’s no way to fight it,” Vexoh said in now-deleted messages that have disappeared. “Not that it’s an excuse, but if you really believe me, Chief, and you’re the only one who did it, then you’re just plain wrong.”
After posting the above, Vexoh deleted their account and are now gone, having tarnished their own reputation, that of WSOW, their teammates, and esports as a whole.
