Under Elon Musk’s leadership, X (formerly Twitter) has been trying to branch out as much as possible. A recent series of tweets now indicate that the platform is testing a video conferencing tool and is looking to take on several industry competitors, including Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and of course, Google Meet.

Chris Park, an X employee, had a team conference about X last week and posted about it. Elon Musk responded with a fire emoji – which is a way of acknowledging the feature.

Other X employees and app investigations also revealed how users will be able to create new meetings on iOS, just as they can on other tools. More tweets from company insiders tell us that conferences will have unique codes that users will have to enter before they can join.
