XDefiant is fast-paced and often requires knee-jerk reflexes to pull off. Your ability to turn and take out an enemy that has you can make the difference between a positive and negative K/D. Your controls can either hinder or enable your abilities in an XDefiant firefight. Make sure you master the controls.
BEST CONTROLLER SETTINGS FOR XDEFIANT
What you use to control XDefiant matters: controller or mouse and keyboard. The consensus among advanced FPS players is that M&KB is better, but there is no recommendation from Ubisoft that you should use one or the other, so take your pick.
XDefiant moves quickly so you want a high mouse/controller sensitivity. On your controller you want to set your horizontal and vertical sensitivity to at least 30-35. On your mouse you want your in-game sensitivity and DPI to work together. If your DPI is 800 you can set your XDefiant sensitivity to 48-50. If your DPI is higher, say 1200-1600 you can leave your in-game sensitivity closer to default or even lower.
If you have a mouse with side buttons, you can map the key combinations for things like grenade, melee or your faction skill to those buttons. This makes working with your left hand a lot easier.
