Notorious leaker Rogue | TX has claimed that the first season of XDefiant will launch with a capture-the-flag mode.

Mere hours after the leaker posted his findings on X (formerly Twitter), his account was suspended, suggesting that the higher-ups at Ubisoft did not want this information to be made public. Ubisoft has yet to confirm whether the leak was legitimate or not.

Even though the post has been removed from the platform, the comments are still visible and some users are already speculating how this popular game mode would work in a game like XDefiant.

"Will CTF even work? It feels like with all the shield abilities etc. capturing flags is going to be relatively easy, much easier than other games with CTF," one fan wrote.
