For six weeks following XDefiant’s May 21 launch, Twitch viewers who watch streams of the new free-to-play shooter can earn a handful of XP boosts and weapon skins via drops for watching for under two hours each week.
HOW TO GET FREE SKINS IN XDEFIANT! #xdefiant
Starting May 21 with the XDefiant All-Star Series on the official Ubisoft channel, viewers with a connected account can earn one weapon XP booster and two skins each week by watching 90 minutes of an XDefiant stream. Viewers will receive the weapon XP booster after 30 minutes, followed by a skin after 60 and 90 minutes.
Those who watch 30 minutes of the XDefiant All-Star Series finals, which pits teams of "the best FPS competitors ever" against each other, will also earn the "Pump Action" victory animation. However, this animation is only available if you're watching on the official Ubisoft channel, and the competition will only last for two hours from 11am to 1pm CT on May 21.
Even by giveaway standards, the XDefiant launch drops campaign seems fairly generous, as players only need to watch 90 minutes across an entire week to receive all of that week’s rewards, and they’re not limited to specific partner streamers. There are bound to be a number of content creators doing partner streams, especially among those who primarily play FPS titles like Call of Duty.
