The first season of XDefiant starts tomorrow and the new faction it brings will be a familiar one to many gamers, but a downright nightmare to everyone who plays it.
XDefiant – Season 1 CTF Mode and New GSK Faction from Rainbow Six
GSK, the Rainbow Six-inspired faction, will be part of the first season of XDefiant and its abilities will be reminiscent of Rainbow Six Siege and that game's theme of defending and controlling an area.
The first GSK ability, the ultimate G52 Tactical Shield, equips the player with a ballistic riot shield that can fire a frontal flash grenade-like ability that blinds and stuns enemy players in its path. The shield can also be used to melee enemies to deal damage and further stun them, and a pistol can be fired from behind it.
GSK's second ability, the ADS or Automatic Defense Shield, can be placed on any surface and automatically shoots down enemy abilities, such as grenades. The final ability, Shock Wire, places barbed wire that electrifies enemies that walk through it, slowing their movement.
