Your Sony Xperia Pro-I smartphone has a number of additional features specifically designed for live streaming.
Sony Xperia Pro-I update brings live streaming in Videography Pro mode
Sony's latest Over The Air (OTA) update for the Xperia Pro-I works together with the Videography Pro app to let you do more with your livestreams, further expanding the idea that the device is more camera than phone. What's more, when used with the GP-VPT2BT shooting grip attachment, you can assign your own custom functions to the grip's C1 custom key directly through the app.
To make sharing your livestreams easier, the update now lets you stream directly to some social media platforms via the Videography Pro app, which will probably save you a few extra steps at the very least. And you can also record streams using the front-facing camera if you decide you need to.
Videography Pro can also tell when you're live streaming at up to 120 fps in a vertical orientation, and will match those details to the video file's metadata. According to Sony, this will make filming and editing your vertical videos a smoother experience, as you'll (expectedly) be able to keep your videos more organized.
