Remember Yik Yak? The once-popular messaging app announced it was coming back four years after it shut down.

Yik Yak made its comeback announcement on its new website on Tuesday. The company was acquired by new owners in February and their goal was to revive the app, according to 9to5Mac.
“We are bringing back Yik Yak because we believe the global community deserves a place to be authentic, a place to be equal, and a place to connect with those closest to us,” Yik Yak said.
“Yik Yak is a radically private network that connects you to the people around you. No strings attached (or labels).”
