Group chats can get chaotic, and that’s what makes group conversations fun. But there are times when you wish you didn’t have to scroll through 100 messages to find the essential thing you’re looking for: the time and place you’re meeting for lunch, who’s bringing what for the potluck dinner, etc. That’s where the ability to pin a message to the top comes in handy. And if you’re a WhatsApp user, you can finally try it for yourself.

The new feature will allow anyone in a group chat to pin a message, keeping it at the top of the chat. This means that everyone in the chat can decide for themselves which message deserves the honor. Since it's a slow rollout, it may take a few days for the feature to appear, so keep checking back if you don't see it yet.

You can pin any message, even a poll, to the top of a chat.
