Much of what was shown in September's Nintendo Direct was here, yes, but it's a solid lineup nonetheless. Not everything was known, however, which was a pleasant surprise.
This Friday sees the release of the still-fabulous-looking Metroid Dread; the OLED Switch; and something I wasn’t expecting: Tetris Effect: Connected. This new Tetris features cross-platform play and a number of new gameplay options, including the time-stopping Zone Battle and the co-op Connected Mode.
Launching on October 26th is Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy: Cloud Version , which uses streaming to bypass the Switch's hardware limitations. All you need to do is install the launcher app and you'll be able to play over your (robust) internet connection.
