Missed calls are annoying, but in most cases there is a simple solution.
If your Android phone isn’t ringing, there are a few possible causes. In the worst case, your phone could be physically damaged or infected with malware. However, you’ve probably accidentally put your phone on silent, left it on airplane or do-not-disturb mode, turned on call forwarding, or there’s a problem with a third-party app.
Follow these tips in order and test your phone after each ring to see if it rings again.
Check your volume settings. On most Android phones, there are several sliders for volume control, but you'll want to adjust the slider for ringer volume.
