Over the years, there has been much debate about the worst palette on a map. Hawkins was in the running for a long time, but Forgotten Ruins has managed to take the cake for the worst palette in possibly the entire DBD history.
CATNAP IS WATER – POPPY PLAYTIME CHAPTER 3 | GH'S ANIMATION
God pallets are loved because they are usually placed at a key point (for example the entrance of the hut if it has a basement) on the DBD maps. These pallets should be used strategically, only at critical moments when most of your teammates are about to die. You should never use them at the beginning of a match, no matter what, otherwise you will be scolded by your friends for wasting them (I speak from experience on both sides).
On the other hand, this pallet on the Forgotten Ruins map in the Decimated Borgo Realm can only be described as the Devil's Pallet. I see no use for it other than absolute hilarity. Did my friend and I spend five minutes inspecting this joke of a pallet with increasing implausibility? Yeah, of course. But there might as well be no pallet, considering how useful it is.
For starters, its location isn’t ideal. Pallets usually spawn more towards the center of the map and never this close to a wall. This one, however, goes straight towards it. So if you were to use the Lithe perk (which gives you a speed boost when jumping), you’d likely lose some of that speed momentum when adjusting your course.
