The upcoming Nintendo Direct event in June 2024 is shaping up to be a huge one for the company. Before any major announcements are made, Zelda fans are eagerly awaiting news about their favorite classic titles coming to Switch before Nintendo switches to a new console.
Nintendo Direct 6.18.2024 – Nintendo Switch
The classic titles that The Legend of Zelda fans have been clamoring for are Nintendo ports of The Wind Waker and Twilight Princess. Both games are over 20 years old. The Wind Waker was originally released on the GameCube and received a remaster for the Wii U, while Twilight Princess was released on both the Wii and GameCube. Zelda fans are hoping that they can finally get their hands on proper Nintendo ports of these two beloved games, especially with the upcoming Nintendo Direct in June 2024 being hyped as a big event.
Zelda fans have been expressing their hopes on Twitter to hear ports of these beloved games revealed during the event. It wouldn't be a huge surprise from Nintendo, as the company has done a great job of bringing many older games to the console or even announcing full remakes of them, such as Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, Super Mario RPG, The Legend of Zelda Link's Awakening, and many more.
