We are quietly transitioning into an era of 4K gaming. Upgraded hardware with commendable software and cutting-edge cooling technology have made this possible, but at what cost? Is it enough to pay for a premium model to build a dream gaming rig? Is it enough to satisfy the Ultra-HD obsession? Or is there more to the marketing jargon. Thanks to Zotac for giving us the chance to try out the Zotac RTX 3080 Amp Holo 10GB. Geeks call it AMP Holo or Han Solo, which makes sense.
I keep my promises… even if it means writing a GPU REVIEW!
In this article I will share my review of the Zotac RTX 3080 10GB GPU. Before I start, I will tag my colleague for this review, who made a significant contribution in testing and trying out the performance of this GPU – (Philmon James).
ZOTAC introduced the RTX 30-series in a new iridescent black for its translucent side panel window chassis. The GPU comes with a holographic top panel that looks like it came out of a sci-fi movie. It has a new backplate that is also powered by ZOTAC’s Spectra 2.0 to make your rig shine. So, aside from all the great looks, let’s take a look at all the technological advancements for gaming in the ZOTAC RTX 3080 AMP Holoblack.
The Zotac RTX 3080 AMP Holo features a triple fan assisted by IceStorm 2.0 Advanced Cooling. The fan does not spin when the GPU is idle. It is a heavy card at around 5 pounds and is adorned with RGB lighting. Nvidia has upped their game with the new RTX 3080 featuring their new Ampere Architecture. The chipset is designed to be better than a 2080 Ti for the price of a regular 2080 Super.
