Zsófia Szilágyi's “January 2” has launched its trailer ahead of the film's premiere at the Venice Film Festival. Films Boutique is handling international sales.
“January 2,” which is being screened as part of the Biennale College selection, follows Klára, who moves out of the place she shares with her husband. Her friend, Ági, helps her. They make a total of seven trips by car. Although they take the same route there and back each time, each trip is different. The film is a realistic story about a divorce from the perspective of the woman with all the challenges she faces after this difficult decision.
