Station 19 is coming to an end, which is making us all nostalgic. The firefighter drama has delivered some intense scenes and memorable disasters over the years, but it’s also a Shondaland property. That means it’s also delivered in the romance department. As we ponder the series’ conclusion, TV Insider looks back at iconic Station 19 couples and ranks them from worst to best.

Some of the relationships were very short-lived or casual, but every couple on this list had an impact on the show for one or both of its characters. Of course, steam was also taken into account in the rankings, but overall, this list is about how these couples, rivals, and flings made us feel. (Note: Ben (Jason George) and Miranda (Chandra Wilson) were not considered for this list because they started out as a Grey's Anatomy couple, but they're still incredibly beloved.)
