Boss Team Games has announced that it is developing two new games based on John Carpenter's Halloween. Carpenter is heavily involved in one of the games.

The studio behind Evil Dead: The Game will develop two projects based on the 1978 slasher classic. Most notably, one project will be developed in Unreal Engine 5 and will feature significant input from avid gamer, synth enthusiast, and legendary director John Carpenter.
The press release states that the games will allow players to “relive moments from the film and play as classic characters from one of the most iconic and important horror films of all time.”
Carpenter, who is reportedly closely involved in the development, issued a brief statement about the news.
