UPDATED: Democratic White House candidate Kamala Harris said on July 25 that she will debate former President Donald Trump on Sept. 10, but the GOP candidate's campaign has refused to commit until "the Democrats have formally decided on their nomination." That came after Trump said he would "absolutely" debate Harris.

On July 21, President Joe Biden announced that he would not seek re-election and endorsed Vice President Harris to take his place as the Democratic nominee in the 2024 election.
