A total of 8,500 beneficiaries in Eastern Visayas on Friday received rice, education and livelihood support through three programs designed to help Filipinos who are not part of the government's main social protection programs.

“Kapag kan Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair sa isang lugar, isinasabay na rin natin ang CARD, SIBOL, at ISIP para matulungan natin en mga sector na hindi man nakasama sa 4Ps program ay alam nating nahihirapan sa hamon ng pang-araw-araw na pamumuhay,” Romualdez said.
The speaker is referring to the Cash Assistance and Rice Distribution (CARD) program, the Start-up, Incentives, Business Opportunity and Livelihood (SIBOL) program and the Integrated Scholarship and Incentives for the Youth (ISIP for the Youth).
“I think it is a long program to help senior citizens, PWD, single parents, IPs, students and entrepreneurs in the labor market. It is a matter of Pangulong Bongbong Marcos, who can help the tulong,” he added.
