Someone call 9-1-1 for 911! The ABC drama heads into its eighth season with a familiar face, but one we hoped we'd never see again, now that the captain is at the station after Bobby (Peter Krause) quits (though he's realizing where he belongs).
best of: 9-1-1 crossover
But the hierarchy of the firehouse and what it means for the first responders is just one of the unresolved plot points for 9-1-1 Season 8. Eddie's (Ryan Guzman) personal life fell apart after he encountered his late wife's doppelganger. Hen (Aisha Hinds) received a phone call from earlier in the season that came back to haunt her when it came to her and Karen's (Tracie Thoms) attempts to become foster parents. And Buck's (Oliver Stark) new relationship may be working, but will it last?
Below, we'll take a look at the burning questions we have after the finale. Check them out, then head to the comments to let us know yours.
Bobby returned to work after his near-death experience to find that he couldn't just slide back into the captaincy as if nothing had happened. Instead, Gerrard (Brian Thompson), who had made the 118 a rather uncomfortable place to work for Hen and Chimney (Kenneth Choi) before he got there, was waiting to inform him that there were some concerns about a leadership hiatus in the house and that he had agreed to come back and straighten things out. (He also informed the others of Bobby's firing, which he hadn't told anyone.) Time hasn't changed him, as the penultimate episode showed with his interactions with Chimney, Buck, and Tommy (Lou Ferrigno Jr.), so something tells us that no one will be happy at the 118 until he's gone. But what will it take?
