It’s been a few months since new episodes of our favorite network dramas aired, but the premieres are finally here. So when better to remind you where the biggest shows went?

As is often the case, several finales have left characters' lives hanging by a thread (Chicago Fire, PD), plus at least one premiere has put a few key characters in jeopardy (9-1-1). At least two law enforcement officers didn't exactly think twice about their badges when they confronted men in storylines involving their families last May (Wilmer Valderrama's Torre on NCIS, Matt Lauria's Josh on CSI: Vegas). A few shows have pitted entire teams in explosive, fiery situations (The Equalizer, FBI: International). And for one long-running drama, we can't help but wonder if it will be the last.

Season 6 ended with Captain Bobby Nash (Peter Krause) and Sergeant Athena Grant (Angela Bassett) finally setting sail on the cruise they'd been trying to take for some time… without telling anyone where they were going. Now, the first promos for Season 7 (on ABC, after switching from Fox) show an explosion on a cruise ship as it begins to sink. The most disturbing part? The video featuring an LAPD badge! Let's hope Bobby and Athena are among those searching for victims and not the ones rescued in the premiere.
