In celebration of its 40th anniversary, Warner Bros. Discovery Home Entertainment has announced the 4K and Blu-ray release dates for A Nightmare on Elm Street, the remastered version of Wes Craven’s 1984 horror thriller starring Robert Englund.

"Can your nightmares be fatal? In this classic horror film that launched a franchise, a horribly scarred man murdered by a lynch mob returns years later in the terrifying nightmares of his killer's teenage children… and the dreaming teens begin dying in their sleep," reads the official synopsis.
The remastered version of A Nightmare on Elm Street will be available in 4K Ultra HD on October 1 across digital platforms including Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, Google Play, Fandango at Home and more. This will then be followed by a 4K UHD Blu-ray Disc release on October 15, available online and in-store at major retailers.
