EXCLUSIVE: Fox's anthology series Accused has added Debra Winger (An Officer and a Gentleman), Mercedes Ruehl (The Fisher King) and Christine Ebersole (Wolf of Wall Street) to the cast for Season 2. Matthew James Thomas, who appeared in Season 1, is returning in a new role.

Season 2 premieres on Tuesday, October 8 at 8:00 p.m. This new date has been postponed due to the upcoming vice presidential debate.
Accused is a collection of intense, timely human stories of crime and punishment. Told from the suspect’s perspective through flashbacks, each episode is a fast-paced, provocative thriller investigating a different crime, in a different city, with an all-original cast. The series is based on the BBC BAFTA Award-winning crime anthology of the same name, created by Jimmy McGovern.
Other leading roles are played by Felicity Huffman, William H. Macy, Nick Cannon and Michael Chiklis.
