Fox has moved the Season 2 premiere of crime series Accused from October 1 to Tuesday, October 8 due to the recently rescheduled vice presidential debate between Gov. Tim Walz (D-MN) and Sen. J.D. Vance (R-OH), hosted by CBS News.

The Season 2 premiere will air Oct. 8 at 8 p.m. ET, followed by Murder in a Small Town. The second episode of Murder in a Small Town will still air Oct. 1, but will now air at 8 p.m. ET, followed by the debate, the network said Friday.

From Fox Entertainment and Sony Pictures Television, Accused is a collection of intense, timely human stories of crime and punishment. Told from the suspect’s perspective through flashbacks, each episode is a fast-paced, provocative thriller investigating a different crime, in a different city, with an all-original cast. The series is based on the BBC BAFTA Award-winning crime anthology of the same name, created by Jimmy McGovern.
