Aerosmith ends touring; 'full recovery' for Steven Tyler 'not possible'
The Aerosmith train has stopped.
The group announced via the official X account that they will no longer be touring. They gave the reason that singer Steven Tyler is having trouble with his voice and that he cannot recover.
"We have always wanted to amaze you on stage," the band wrote. "As you know, Steven's voice is an instrument like no other. He has worked tirelessly for months to get his voice back to the level it was at before his injury. We have watched him struggle despite having the best medical team at his side. Unfortunately, it is clear that a full recovery from his vocal injury is not possible. We have made the heartbreaking and difficult, but necessary, decision — as a band of brothers — to stop touring."
