In July, on WWE Money in the Bank, John Cena revealed that he will retire from WWE in 2025. Cena will embark on a year-long farewell tour, beginning with the historic premiere of Raw on Netflix in January 2025. Fans will have the chance to see him compete in the Royal Rumble and Elimination Chamber before his final match at WrestleMania 41. He will wrestle throughout 2025, making 30-40 appearances from January through December.
John Cena, who has spent his entire wrestling career in a WWE ring, recently received some criticism from his former rival Chris Jericho. Jericho said that he can't imagine Cena wrestling outside of WWE.
Jericho and Cena have faced off several times throughout their careers. Their high-profile rivalry in 2005 saw Jericho challenge Cena for the WWE Championship at SummerSlam. Additionally, Cena returned from injury in 2008 to challenge Jericho for the World Heavyweight Championship at Survivor Series.
