Stuart Ford on Film Distribution: How Do We Meet the Post-COVID Challenges?

Stuart Ford, CEO of AGC Studios, has called for a rethink of the relationship between US theatrical distributors and the independent production world, calling it “the burning issue of the moment”.
"If we're going to get back to a period of efficiency in the independent film business, there's got to be a collective solution for American theaters: how it's done, what the economics of it are and how American distributors of theaters interact with film owners, because I think that relationship is broken right now," Ford said.
