Alfonso Cuarón was thoughtful yet playful this afternoon as he headlined the final session in the Locarno Film Festival's popular masterclass series.

The discussion focused on Cuarón's origins and most successful projects, which he has discussed at length before. However, the four-time Oscar winner did provide some insight into projects he has yet to get off the ground.

“My ambition is to make a horror film one day,” he told the packed house at the stylish open-air Spazio cinema in Locarno.
