Senate warns Alice Guo of arrest warrant if she fails to show up for hearing | 24 Oras
Nicholas Felix Ty, Undersecretary of the Department of Justice (DOJ), reminded suspended Bamban Mayor Alice Guo that she failed to appear at the hearing for the preliminary investigation into the complaint accusing her and co-defendants of human trafficking on Monday (July 22).
Guo had previously indicated that she would answer to the charges against her in the appropriate court.
A panel of prosecutors from the Department of Justice is conducting a preliminary investigation into the complaint filed on June 21 by the Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission (PAOCC) and the Philippine National Police-Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (PNP-CIDG) against Guo and her co-defendants, including former Technology Resource Center (TRC) chief Dennis Cunanan.
