Borys Kit of The Hollywood Reporter named Alien: Romulus the best film of the summer. "ALIEN: ROMULUS: Hits all the great hallmarks of what you'd expect from an Alien movie, but never feels like it's cashing in on nostalgia or fan service… and even goes in a wacky new direction," Kit posted on X (formerly known as Twitter). "Fede Alvarez [the director] and the cast just birthed the best movie of the summer."
