Paulson, Nash and Watts have previously worked with Murphy on several projects. Paulson has worked with Murphy in American Horror Story, The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story, Mrs. America and Ratched, to name a few. Nash will star in Murphy’s upcoming FX series Grotesquerie, while Watts has starred in The Watcher and most recently Feud: Capote vs. The Swans.
The new series, set in an all-female Los Angeles law firm, is being described by Murphy as "a chic, glossy, sexy adult procedural." Kardashian, who will star and serve as an executive producer, will play a divorce attorney. The previously announced Glenn Close will play the head of the firm. Plot details and character descriptions of Paulson, Nash, Taylor and Watts are being kept under wraps.
Although Halle Berry was previously attached to the film, the new actors are not replacing her role. Deadline understands that they will all play new roles created specifically for the actors.
