EXCLUSIVE: Lío Mehiel, Thaddea Graham, Will Price, Christine Dye and Burgess Byrd have joined previously announced cast members Julia Roberts, Andrew Garfield, Ayo Edebiri, Michael Stuhlbarg and Chloë Sevigny in the upcoming Amazon MGM Studios film After the Hunt . The film is produced by Imagine Entertainment and is set to hit theaters next year.

Luca Guadagnino is directing the film from a script written by Nora Garrett. Imagine Entertainment’s Brian Grazer and Allan Mandelbaum are producing with Guadagnino through his Frenesy banner. Imagine Entertainment’s Karen Lunder will executive produce with Nora Garrett. Production on the film begins this summer.

The film follows a professor who finds herself at a crossroads in her personal and professional life when a star student makes an accusation against one of her colleagues, and a dark secret from her own past threatens to come to light.

Mehiel made their feature film debut starring in Mutt at Sundance 2023. The film won the festival’s highest honor, the Grand Jury Prize in the U.S. Dramatic Competition, and will be released theatrically this fall via Music Box. Lío Mehiel is repped by Paradigm and Lighthouse Management + Media.
