AMC Networks and Charter Communications, the parent company of Spectrum, have extended their multi-year distribution agreement early.
Regulatory updates on AML and MiCA in 2024
Top AMC series include “The Walking Dead” franchise, the Annie Rice adaptations “Interview with the Vampire” and “Mayfair Witches,” “Dark Winds,” “Gangs of London,” and other shows on AMC, BBC America, IFC, SundanceTV and We TV cable networks.
As part of the new pact, the ad-supported version of AMC Networks’ streaming service AMC+, which offers same-day access to all of AMC’s original series as well as content from Shudder, Sundance Now and IFC Films Unlimited, will be included at no additional cost for Charter’s Spectrum TV Select customers. Charter will make AMC+ available for purchase to its internet-only customers.
Financial terms of the extension of the agreement between Charter and AMC Networks were not disclosed.
