The AMAs will celebrate their 50th anniversary with the American Music Awards 50th Anniversary Special, a two-hour primetime show airing live on Sunday, October 6 on CBS and streaming live on Paramount+.

CBS and Dick Clark Productions say the event will chronicle the history of the awards, featuring iconic and never-before-seen moments, as well as new performances from Nelly, Brad Paisley, Chaka Khan and Sheila E, Gladys Knight, Green Day, Nile Rodgers & Chic, Jennifer Hudson, Kane Brown, Mariah Carey, Raye and the Stray Kids, among others.

The special will air live on CBS and stream on Paramount+ from 8-10 p.m. ET/5-7 p.m. PT. It will also stream live and on-demand for Paramount+ with Showtime subscribers, or on-demand for Paramount+ Essential subscribers beginning Monday.
