The American Sports Story teaser trailer offers a sneak peek at FX's take on Aaron Hernandez's story as the upcoming Ryan Murphy series kicks off in September.
American: Sports Story consists of ten episodes based on the Gladiator: Aaron Hernandez podcast, in addition to Wondery’s Football Inc. podcast and The Boston Globe, and charts the rise and fall of Aaron Hernandez, played by Josh Rivera. It explores his identity and family, his career, and ultimately his suicide and overall legacy.
