Call Me Bae – Official Trailer | Ananya Panday | Prime Video India
Call Me Bae will be available to stream on Amazon Prime Video from September 6, 2024. The series follows Ananya Panday as she takes on the role of a South Delhi heiress who faces a dramatic change in her life after losing her fortune.
The trailer introduces Panday’s character, a privileged young woman from South Delhi who suddenly loses her wealth and status. With her back against the wall, she moves to Mumbai, where she has to find a new way of life: from looking for a job as a social media journalist to cleaning her own apartment.
Call Me Bae takes a familiar premise – the poverty-to-riches story – and turns it on its head. Creator Ishita Moitra brings a light-hearted, comedic approach to Panday’s character, whose struggles are portrayed with a dash of humour rather than serious drama. As the teaser unfolds, viewers see Panday’s character go through one challenge after another, from the struggles of city life to the reality checks she gets from those around her.
