Gabriel Bordado Jr., assistant minority leader of the House of Representatives and representative of Camarines Sur, compared Vice President Sara Duterte and former Vice President Leni Robredo on dealing with challenges and using government funds.

Bordado said Duterte's statements that the Marcos government is intimidating her family are "both alarming and perplexing."
“It is unfortunate that instead of working through the challenges calmly as her predecessor did, she chose to publicly criticize the government and accuse it of bullying her family. Former Vice President Leni Robredo, despite significant budgetary constraints, continued to work calmly and effectively. She never demanded excessive security nor did she escalate her struggles,” said Bordado, a close ally of Robredo.
Bordado also stressed that despite the alleged setback between Duterte and Marcos, Congress this year approved a P2.4 billion budget for the Office of the Vice President (OVP).
