While Form can’t yet reveal what projects he’s pursuing with Screen Gems, he tells Variety that he’s still most comfortable in the horror, thriller and sci-fi realms. That won’t come as a surprise to those familiar with his work: Form’s credits, which largely fall within those genres, have collectively grossed more than $3 billion.
He produced all three films in the “A Quiet Place” franchise, which grossed over $850 million worldwide. The most recent film, “A Quiet Place: Day One,” was the biggest debut in the franchise, while the first film was nominated for an Academy Award and earned Form and his fellow producers a PGA nomination.
Form co-founded Platinum Dunes with Michael Bay and Brad Fuller, which has produced hits including the $550 million worldwide grossing “The Purge” franchise, the “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” franchise, reboots of “Texas Chainsaw Massacre,” “Nightmare on Elm Street,” “Friday the 13th” and “The Amityville Horror,” and the adaptation “Ouija.” Form recently produced the feature film “If” with John Krasinski, Ryan Reynolds and Allyson Seeger.
