In a recent conversation, Andrew Garfield, who plays Tobias in We Live in Time, revealed an interesting tidbit about the film, which features a sex scene with Florence Pugh.

According to The Amazing Spider-Man star, the two actors filmed an intimate scene for much longer than they should have. The bizarre incident allegedly occurred after Andrew Garfield and Florence Pugh failed to hear the director say cut.
During his recent appearance on 92NY, Garfield revealed the aforementioned experience of unintentionally filming an extended sex scene with Pugh for We Live in Time . Speaking to Josh Horowitz, the actor elaborated on what went down on set. "The scene gets passionate, the way we choreographed it. And we kind of get into it, and we go a little bit further than we should, just because we don't hear 'cut' and it feels safe," he said.
The 41-year-old actor explained at the time that he quickly became aware of what was happening. "At one point we both said, I feel like we were telepathically saying to each other, this definitely feels like a longer take."
