Did a public DNA database solve a murder? "48 Hours" investigates
CBS News' venerable “48 Hours” is getting a new correspondent to provide fans with regular true crime investigations.
Anne-Marie Green, longtime anchor of CBS News' early morning broadcast and, most recently, the livestreaming service, has been named a regular Saturday night correspondent for the channel. She will join the show's other correspondents, including Peter Van Sant, Erin Moriarty and Natalie Morales.
"Anne-Marie is already a huge part of the '48 Hours' family — she's the host of our hit 'Post Mortem' podcast and has worked with us as a '48 Hours' contributor. In fact, Anne-Marie's episode, 'The Death of an Officer's Wife,' was one of the highest-rated shows of the last two seasons," said Judy Tygard, executive producer of "48 Hours," in a memo to employees reviewed by Variety. She added: "For those of you who haven't had the pleasure of working with Anne-Marie, she is an excellent interviewer, prepares for every case as if she were going to bring it to court and is a true team player."
