APARTMENT 7A Trailer (2024) Rosemary's Baby Prequel
The trailer for “Apartment 7A,” a prequel to Roman Polanski’s 1968 horror classic “Rosemary’s Baby,” has been released.
“Inventing Anna” and “Ozark” star Julia Garner will lead the film, directed by Natalie Erika James from a script by Skylar James and Christian White. The film premieres exclusively on Paramount+ on September 27, ahead of the Halloween season.
In “Apartment 7A,” Garner plays Terry Gionoffrio, who in “Rosemary’s Baby” is a recovering drug addict played by Victoria Vetri. Set in 1965 New York City, the prequel chronicles what happened at the Bramford Building before Rosemary (played by Mia Farrow in the 1968 film) moved in. According to the official logline: “When a struggling young dancer suffers a devastating injury, she finds herself drawn into a dark force when a quirky, well-connected older couple promises her a shot at fame.”
