The Aurora Pacific Economic Zone and Freeport Authority (APECO) has launched three major infrastructure projects to better prepare the economic zone for industrial and commercial enterprises.
3 NEW APECO PROJECTS LAUNCHED
During a ceremony, APECO President and CEO Atty. Gil G. Taway IV highlighted the government’s efforts to complete nearly P800 million worth of abandoned projects, following directives from President Ferdinand “Bongbong” R. Marcos Jr.
"Today, APECO is answering the call. In addition to addressing past challenges, we are committed to improving APECO's performance as an investment promotion agency," Taway said. "Our strategic direction now is to transform APECO into the fishing capital of the north, a renewable energy hub, and the Philippines' first national defense center, which requires proper preparations."
The projects include a new fire station in Casiguran and the completion of two previously halted projects: Phase 1 of the Sewage Treatment Plant Project and the Fire Station.
